My works are thought through, planned, structured, follow a pattern etc.
One key challenge for me is to let go, embrace freedom and experiment in making instead of trying to think about everything up front.
Quality family time, emotions, experiments, and happiness – all events define us.
To let go, have fun, and experiment, I decided to engage the support of my daughter, allowing her to take charge while I support and observed. Our own collaboration.
While observing the process gave me so much inspiration, things to think about and the drive to embrace the freedom of experimentation. I won’t be posting videos or photos with her process for privacy reasons. This was a crucial step in pushing me to experiment with other things I’d like to work on, a different approach to how I was thinking about something.
